One thing that I forgot to mention is that Grant was at the track when Cole crashed and was at his side and assisted Tom in removing Cole's helmet chin strap.
Also, Cole developed a case of pneumonia when he aspirated while being intubated. He's being treated with antibiotics.
We also learned a little while ago that Cole briefly open his eyes while being move in his bed by the nursing staff. That seems to be a bite of good news.
My husband and son were there riding yesterday as well and were there within moments of the accident. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Nathin is especially concerned as he went to Vanguard with him and sees him at the track from time to time. We will continue to pray for him and ask all our family and friends to pray for him also.
